Woah!

Just amazing..You never come to get a perfect assonance but, instead, the song always is suspended with the continue use of different keys mixed together.
Interesting song, i would have loved a more explicit "full melodic assonant moment" but .. hey this is matter of taste, you're not me ;)
And, great work on overall sequencing, i think you putted a lot of effort in this.
Download and five!

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Hey man, i really appreciate your comment! I remember when i first was starting off with music a long while back and signed up on newgrounds you were one of the first really cool musicians i ran into on this sight. I still listen to a few of your tracks from time to time since they've been on my computer forever! So its really awesome to get this comment from you! Especially one with good graces. Heh heh, yeah this track was never supposed to come to much assonance : P One of my all over the place pieces. Was going for a very aggressive track. Trying to see just how wild i could get it, yet have some calm melodies in the back. Glad to see you like this one though! Thank you very much for your review no1r. : D

Yet another great song!

Just downloaded and copied onto my car mp3 player..

Scribbler responds:

I hope your car likes it.

I liked this song!

I really liked the mood you're setting with this piece.
And i appreciated a lot the sounds/mixing.
Strings on backround are sweet and warm and the rest is well merged with that.
Is a little bit repetitive and short, in my opinion, this could be a really good track if you work on it!
Anyway it's perfect for flash submissions!
Well done and fived!

Scribbler responds:

You appreciated something not a lot of people notice. When it's done wrong, people complain but when it isn hardly noticeable, everyone forgets about it! I really appreciate that you noticed the mixing of the sounds, I spent about 2 hours tweaking every little sound so it blended with the song just the way I intended. The reason it's so short is because I had a flash animation in mind while making this track. I thought that if it were shorter, it wouldn't work well and if it were longer, it wouldn't fit with most flashes so 1 minute was the right length. Again, I really appreciate the review.

Thanks.

Agree!

It reminds a lot of Aphex Twin yes but it's still something original and full of effort.
A loved a lot of aspect of this song, the unusual pitch effect on some keyboard passages, the great drum sequencing, the ballad in the middle and then a fantastic piano run..
Until musicians as you will continue posting their stuff on Newgrounds i'll remain here and be proudly part of this place!
Thanks for your music, five, download, fav'd.

nubbinownz responds:

I'm glad to have you hear. I look forward to hearing more from you later on :)

Thank you for the kind and wonderful words friend.

Liked it a lot!

So bad it's so short..
And there are some notes that really don't fit, in my opinion, in the second guitar part.
Fived!

bevermaly responds:

Yeah I agree with you on the guitar part. I was trying to add something a little different so it didn't sound too continuous, but it may have been better off without it.
Thanks for the review & 5! :]

What the fuck

..is this?
Parts are as separated and without any sense..there's no melody, no chords, what the fuck is this?

GREAT!

Great stuff Paul. When i've heard this song into "Devil-Slayer Episode IV" i immediately checked it out..
Oh man i really would like to have a real jazz/lounge band with you..why are you from Netherlands?! :D
Cheers, and five!

Cheez-R-Us responds:

Thanks, heard your song coming by in the animation too.
this one is kinda old, but glad you liked it!
btw if\when I do get crazy rich, I'll probably have a house in Umbria or Tuscany :)

This is a fucking masterpiece!

SO SWEET!
The piece begins with a perfect intro, just loved the piano and the atmosphere. Strings seem a little bit out of tune respect to piano in the beginning but, wtf, when the groove came in my face was exactly like the "5" icon of the voting system!
Lalz. GREAT.
Downloaded right now!

Cheez-R-Us responds:

Thanks again!

Aww, i loved this!

I think that you're going trough a "ever more deep" sound phase eheh!
Lo-Fi mix makes this loop so nice :)
Nice progression on bass mixed with rhodes.
This reminds me of some works by Jazzanova!

Cheez-R-Us responds:

Thanks, Jazzanova feels like a compliment to me!

I'm getting down to this!

I liked a lot the drums and rythmic effects, you should work more on the "melodic part" of the song and the bass you put at the end was just too much -strong-, in my opinion.
Good work anyways!

TomConfidential responds:

Thank you. I actually just threw this one up there as a comparison to how my work used to sound as opposed to how it sounds now. I do have a bit of a desire to re-work this one now tho, i personally dont really like the end too much either but i needed something and in my haste and inexperience at the time led me to that. I'm glad you enjoy it tho, check out some of my other work (not to brag but i do feel i've got a lot better, haha)
