thanx for review

Absolutely stunning

This is real music, played by real (and great) musicians!
I guess this is a project you're involved into..like "The sorohan quintet"? :D
Improvising, a beautiful and well built harmony, perfect sounds (loved the doublebass) and recording.
Respect. Five on five, absolutely!
I hope you guys begin playing worldwide..

sorohanro responds:

yep, right ... :))
the Sorohan Quintet
me on trumpet
me on keyboards
me on drumm programing and cutting loops

Petre Scafaru on saxophone
Anghel Marc on kaval (and me cutting and editing 8 bars from 7 minutes of playing)

thanx for review
as for playng worldwide, check on the project "Balkan Winds" (you can google on that)

Crazy experiment! :D

I'm asking myself how did you record your voice so deeply and clear! Maybe with a good microphone! Just brilliant, as always!

sorohanro responds:

nah ... everything i record home, i record with a Shure C607 (ideal for karaoke-that's what was written on the booklet)

i don't quite remember what i did with my voice here ... i compress A LOT voices (maby too much)
lately i record in studios or to friends that have better stuff (mics, soundcards and even ears)

also the ideea wasn't mine, but i'm glad that you liked it
is really great when one of your favourites musicians like the stuff you make ;)

Great work on this!

Loved the progression and guitar sound.
I also ask myself how did you do the bass..really so good.
And what about drums..Fast, clean and pefect.
Great.

sorohanro responds:

thanx
at that time i had a good amp ...
now ... i had to sell it and i'm sad :((

Simply...

..wow. What else to say? This is better than 98% of things you would find in a medium music store today.
Thanks!

sorohanro responds:

thanx
how are you lately ? i must check out your page, you have nice music there...

Perfectly

fits with the moment you was living.
You should be writing soundtracks for films ..
this music rules sorohan..

sorohanro responds:

hey, you are back... i am back ... wow ...
by the way, i'm now in Lithuania making a soundtrack for a movie ;)

Hey!

Hey man! This is lovely..
I admire you for the simply perfect construction of your progressions and also for the melodies you put into it. Really a great work. Your music puts into me interest in listening!
Liked a lot the "bend" work on the solo keyboard :-)

6/5

sorohanro responds:

he he ... thanx... i guess i like to bend things ... i have to try with spoons also
i wrote that having in mind the band "Incognito"

As i already said

this track is great. It reminds me of some Pink Floyd moods..sweet.
Keep playing Paul! :)

Cheez-R-Us responds:

That's great!

Good music, nice progression, very calm and perfect for backgrounds! :)

caffeinerush responds:

Much appreciated :)

A good blues

A simple blues progression with good work on the rythmic organ part!
Good work, but why did you put it in jazz and not in blues? :)
This is not jazz ;)

Khuskan responds:
